About Bullmastiffs -

Bullmastiffs are a large breed dog that were originally created to patrol the estates in Great Britain for poachers.   Once found, the bullmastiff was to down and hold the poacher until the gamekeeper arrived to arrest them.   They lived with the gamekeeper's family and had to be docile yet fearless. 

They are an assertive guard vs an aggressive one and thusly more stable than some strictly guard breeds.   Consistent training is essential and bullmastiffs do like to have a job.

About Pugs -

Pugs are truly "Multum In Parvo" (a lot in a little).  Compact little dogs, they are fearless, stubborn and funny.  Originally descended from a small molosser, they retain certain "big dog" attitudes.   Pugs have known breathing and eye issues as well as the constant shedding of their luxurious coats.  

 Good Companion Dogs, they are capable of amusing tricks as well as performance work.
